Here we have the Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 fast prime lens for F-mount Nikon SLR cameras. It comes with both front and rear lens caps. One of Nikon's legendary Nikkor lenses, it is well-known and loved for its sharpness, color rendition, wonderful contrast, and excellent bokeh.

The aperture blades are oil free and actuate perfectly. The glass is free of fungus, haze, separation and scratches. The aperture ring clicks with mechanical precision and the focus ring spins beautifully. The filter threads are in great shape, as is the lens mount.

This lens has a fast maximum aperture of F/1.8, allowing excellent low-light performance, and is well suited for night time street photography when available light is low. This fast aperture also produces excellent bokeh and shallow depth of field, perfect for subject isolation. It is slso perfectly capable of standard snap shots, portrait work, sports photography, and more. This is a standard, all-purpose lens of exceptional quality.

The lens produces exceptional images due to its excellent optical formula, and with its fantastic Nikkor multi-coated elements, the lens does well to reduce flaring, ghosting, chromatic aberration, and other optical artifacts.

This lens is made with Nikon's ubiquitous F-mount (AIS), the standard mount they've used on every SLR camera from 1959-present day. Because of this it will mount to nearly every Nikon SLR camera, and will work perfectly. It can also be mounted to mirror-less, micro 4/3rds, and other modern digital cameras with suitable adapters. If you're unsure whether or not this lens will mount to your camera, ask and we'll be happy to help.

The lens will be packaged securely and shipped immediately.
