A full overview of the Nikon Nikonos system can be seen here.

One of the prettiest and most capable cameras ever made, the seals have been greased, and it has been fully tested underwater and performs perfectly.

The included lens is of the highest quality and is optically and mechanically perfect. The 35mm focal length ensures that a wide-standard field of view will capture everything in the frame. And the relatively fast aperture will help in low-light shooting situations.

The Nikonos II is the second NIkonos derived from the original Calypso dive camera (co-designed by Jacques Cousteau). Made in 1968, it is still regarded as a great all mechanical undersea film machines ever made. This camera offers a massive and bright viewfinder for easy framing, and most notably, is a fully mechanical camera requiring no battery power whatsoever. For this reason, it is one of the most reliable and long-lived underwater cameras ever made.

Extremely rugged construction, simple controls, and waterproofing capable of reaching depths of 160 ft (50 m) make it a truly versatile camera.

Naturally this camera can also be used on dry land, and is especially effective in areas where inclement weather and trying conditions are expected. This makes the Nikonos a fantastic choice for adventurers, hikers, action-sports lovers, and anyone who puts their camera through the rigors of their adventurous lifestyle.

The Nikonos will be carefully packaged and shipped immediately.
