This is an affordable general purpose camera for the amateur shooter or advance photographer. It will do nearly everything the average film photographer could ask of it, and it looks quite handsome at the same time. The camera is in very nice condition. The viewfinder, film compartment, mirror box, shutter, and battery compartment are all very clean and in great shape. All dials, switches and knobs click and actuate exactly as they should. The light meter works perfectly and the automatic film advance and rewind function as intended. All shooting modes also work as intended.

The included lens is an excellent value lens. It is sharp and can zoom from wide standard to telephoto standard focal lengths. This makes it an ideal setup for almost every kind of general purpose photography, including landscape, snapshots, action, family photos, portraits, architectural shooting, and street photography.

The aperture ring clicks as it should, and the focus ring spins fluidly. The mount is pristine, and the filter threads are unmarred. The aperture blades are snappy and oil free, and the glass elements are free of any blemishes, balsam separation, cleaning marks, and fungus.

The lens is a Pentax K mount lens, and so it can be used on any camera with the K mount. The Chinon camera is also, naturally, a K mount camera and can use any K mount lens, and works correctly with A-series K mount lenses which allow for in-body control of lens aperture.
