Here we have a beautiful Ricoh 500 G 35mm film rangefinder camera with case and cap. This camera comes with new light seals installed and a new battery. 

Cosmetically the camera is in gorgeous condition. Mechanically it is perfect and fully functional. The viewfinder is clean and clear, the frame lines are sharp and contrasty, and the rangefinder patch is exactly as it should be.

The film compartment is clean and free of damage and debris. The light seals are new replacement felt, and the battery compartment is free of corrosion. The light meter works correctly, as does the automatic exposure system, focus action, aperture and shutter speed controls. 

The 40mm f/2.8 lens elements are clean and free of dust, fungus, haze, cleaning marks and scratches.

The Ricoh 500 G is a compact semi-automatic and fully manual rangefinder camera. It offers shutter-priority automatic shooting, plus full manual mode (full manual mode operates in every speed without battery power, making this a fully mechanical rangefinder). Additionally of note, when shot in manual mode the light meter still displays a reading to assist in setting aperture and shutter speed. This is a rare feature in the world of compact rangefinders.
