Here we have a lens that's a legend in the vintage photo world. This Nikon Nippon Kogaku Nikkor PC is one of the most famous and well respected classic Nikon lenses of all time, the Nikkor 105mm F/2.5 (10.5cm) fast portrait lens. This example is the Nikon S Mount rangefinder version, with included auxiliary 10.5cm Nippon Kogaku shoe-mount viewfinder, plus Nikon lens caps and the lens hood.

The lens elements are exceptionally clean (impressive considering the lens was made in the 1950s), with no fungus, balsam separation, cleaning marks, or abrasions. There is very minor dust commensurate with a lens of this age. The aperture actuates beautifully with perfect blades. The aperture ring clicks nicely into its detents, and the focus rotates smoothly. Filter threads and mount are in great condition. The lens barrel shows cosmetic usage marks (please see images for full details regarding condition).

The Nikkor 105mm F/2.5 is one of the most incredible portrait lenses around. Shooting wide open, it creates some of the most pleasant bokeh you'll ever find. Stopping it down results in unbelievably sharp images.

This version will natively mount to any S Mount Nikon rangefinder camera, including the classic S series rangefinders and the modern S3 Millenium and Nikon SP 2005. Additionally it will work on all of today's mirror-less cameras with an adapter.
