Here we have a beautiful and pristine Leica Dual Range Summicron M 50mm F/2 lens for M mount rangefinder and mirrorless cameras with adapter. This lens comes with the original close-up goggle attachment, a Leitz rear lens cap, a front cap, and a Leitz box.

It is in exceptional condition both cosmetically and mechanically. There's no damage and only minor indications of use. Please see photos for cosmetic condition.

The lens is mechanically perfect. Everything functions exactly as it should. The aperture ring clicks into its detents with precision and the blades actuate beautifully. There are no markings on the lens elements, no fungus, haze, separation, or other issues. The coatings are pristine. The barrel and focusing ring are beautiful, and the focus action is smooth and precise. The dual range mechanism works as it should. The spring is tight and precise, and the ball bearing is sturdy.

The dual range goggles, which attach to the lens and allow for close focus rangefinder focusing on Leica M cameras, is perfect. The glass and metal are unmarred, and it works beautifully.

The Dual Range Leica Summicron 50mm F/2 is widely considered to be one of the finest made and sharpest resolving Leica M mount 50mm lenses of all time. It is exceptional in every way, and this example is a gorgeous one.
