Here we have an Olivetti Dora (also known as the Lettera 31) typewriter, in gray. This typewriter is in excellent condition, is fully functional, and has been thoroughly cleaned. It is ready to type. 

The Dora / Lettera 31 was designed by the famed Italian designer Ettore Sottssas and was sold under many names. It was manufactured in Italy, Spain, and Mexico (this example being manufactured in Olivetti's Barcelona, Spain factory). 

The keys are in excellent condition and all function as they should. All levers, knobs, switches, and keys actuate with mechanical precision. Cosmetically excellent, as shown in the photos, this typewriter is a prime example of beautiful industrial design. 

The included ink ribbon is an old ribbon, but as shown in the photographs it still marks beautifully. A new and inexpensive ribbon is available to purchase online. If you'd like to know where to buy a new ribbon, just ask and I'll provide a link.
