Here we have the SMC Pentax FA 28-80mm F3.5-5.6 SMC K-Mount Auto-Focus zoom lens.

This lens is in fantastic condition and is fully functional. Everything works as it should.

There are no points of damage cosmetically, the glass is clean and clear with no marks, scratches, fungus, or optical coating issues. The aperture blades are snappy and free of oil. The focus ring spins as it should, and the zoom ring also works flawlessly.

This zoom lens covers the range of standard focal lengths, allowing the photographer to shoot everything from landscapes, to architectural shots, to street photography, and portraiture. The relatively fast apertures of F/3.5-5.6 allows for reasonable control of depth of field, and stopping the lens down creates images that are very sharp. The lens' ability to macro focus makes it ideal for close-up subjects.

The SMC Pentax glass offers some of the best optical coatings in the world, and perfectly mitigates chromatic aberration, flaring, ghosting, and other optical problems. Capable of extremely sharp images with little vignetting or edge blur, this lens is a solid performer that's perfect for an incredible variety of photography styles. From landscapes to family photos, street photography to long-exposures, this lens is capable of all the usual photographic pursuits. Its relatively quick aperture allows solid low-light performance.

This Pentax-A auto-focusing lens will naturally mount to any K-Mount Pentax camera or can be used on any mirrorless camera through the use of readily available adapters. If you would like to know which adapter would allow the use of this lens on your camera, please send a message and we'll furnish a link.

The lens will be carefully packaged and shipped immediately.
