This camera is in fantastic condition and works perfectly. The Voigtlander Color Lanthar 50mm F/1.8 lens is clean and free of balsam separation, haze, and fungus. The leaf shutter works perfectly at all speeds and the aperture actuates correctly. The selenium light meter reacts to light, but I do not think that it is accurate. However this camera can be used easily without the light meter, as it is a fully manual camera.

The film compartment is clean and free of dust and debris. The viewfinder is big, bright, and easy to use. Film advance and rewind works perfectly.

The Voigtlander Vitoret D is an exceptionally well-built, fully manual scale focus camera. It uses a selenium light meter which requires no battery to operate. This camera has a very sharp lens, and a quick aperture. It is a decidedly mechanical camera, and feels exceptionally weighty and purposeful.
