Nikon N2020 35mm Film SLR Camera Body with Body Cap

Here we have a Nikon N2020 35mm film SLR camera body. This camera is fully operational and ready to produce another lifetime of fantastic photos.

This camera is in excellent condition. The battery compartment, film compartment, mirror box, and viewfinder are all clean. The viewfinder is beautiful and without problems (allowing easy manual focus) and the autofocus system works perfectly. All buttons, levers, dials, and knobs actuate as they should. All functions work perfectly.

The Nikon N2020 (sold elsewhere as the F-501) was the first successful autofocus SLR camera sold by the Nikon Corporation beginning in 1986.

This is a 35 mm single-lens reflex camera with automatic film loading and advance. The built-in motor drive provides single or continuous firing modes. Maximum film advance speed is 2.5 frames per second on continuous mode, but can be as slow as 1.4 frames depending on the status of the focus/exposure locks.

This camera uses a through-the-lens "passive" phase-detection autofocus method for establishing focus. This method is more precise than other focus methods. This camera has two focus modes available, single, in which focus is established and won't change while the operator holds down lightly on the shutter button, and continuous, in which the lens will continuously re-focus on whatever is in the focus area.

The N2020 can be set for auto exposure, "hi-speed" auto exposure, "dual" auto-exposure (with Ai-S type lenses) which switches between regular auto exposure and hi-speed autoexposure based on the lens attached, aperture priority, or full manual exposure modes, which allows the user to set both the aperture and shutter speeds.

The N2020 supports TTL flash exposures with a wide range of Nikon flashes. The Nikon SB-20 flash was especially designed for this camera.

This camera will be shipped immediately and packaged securely to ensure safe delivery.
