This item comes from the collection of Ned Bunnell, former President of Pentax USA. You will not find a better example of this camera anywhere.

The camera is in perfect condition cosmetically and mechanically. Dials, switches, knobs, and levers actuate with mechanical precision. The mirror box, film compartment, battery compartment, viewfinder, and focusing screen are clean. The shutter works as it should at all speeds.

The Spotmatic is a legend in the photographic world. One of the first cameras to offer through the lens exposure metering, it also offers a number of superb features found on many professional spec cameras of the time, including the fast maximum shutter speed of 1/1000th of a second.

This is a camera that is equally at home in the hands of a new film shooter or in the hands of a weathered and experienced photo geek.
