The camera is functionally and mechanically perfect. The mirror box, battery compartment, film compartment, viewfinder, and focusing screen are clean. The shutter is in perfect condition. The lens mount is tight and all knobs, levers, and dials, actuate as they should. The reflex mirror has minor wear that does not impact images.

The included 24mm Nikon Nikkor lens is a great performer. The aperture blades are free of oil and actuate rapidly. The focus ring spins easily. The aperture ring clicks into its detents with mechanical precision. The optic coatings are in excellent shape, however, the front glass element of the lens has some scratches and wear as pictured in the product images.

This standard focal length lens is perfect for all types of photography, and the fast maximum aperture of F/2.8 makes it great for low-light shooting situations, and for producing excellent bokeh and subject isolation.
