Here we have a fantastic condition Minolta 35 Model IIB with Super Rokkor 50mm F/2 Leica Thread Mount lens. This is the highest spec Minolta 35 ever made, and one of the best Super Rokkor around. Both the camera and lens are fully functional and ready to produce another lifetime of fantastic photos. 

This rangefinder camera was among the best in the world when it was released, and in fact featured many advancements over comparable Leica cameras. These include a combined rangefinder/viewfinder system, self-timer, and an integrated film take-up spool and hinged film door. 

The Model IIB is the best Minolta 35 variant ever made, with superior convenience features (such as a lever style film advance mechanism), as well as numerous technical improvements. These include a larger magnification viewfinder, full frame image area, and an improved effective rangefinder base of 32mm.

The camera is in exceptional condition cosmetically, and is functionally perfect. There's no damage to the body or lens, and no missing leatherette or scratches. All dials, knobs, levers, and switches actuate as they should with mechanical precision. The viewfinder is clean and the rangefinder works perfectly. The rangefinder patch is as it should be, and the film compartment and shutter are clean and free of damage or debris. 

The lens is in excellent condition as well. Focus actuation is smooth and precise, and the aperture ring clicks into its detents nicely. The aperture blades are beautiful and the mechanism works perfectly. The glass is free of damage, scratches, fungus, and cleaning marks. 

This camera accept all Leica Thread Mount lenses, and the included lens can also be fitted to any Leica Thread Mount camera or adapted via an adapter to today's modern mirror-less machines like Sony's a7 and Fuji's X-series.
