Rollei Rolleimat AF Point and Shoot 35mm Film Camera, with Cap and Strap and Batteries
Here we have a fully functional and very nice Rollei Rolleimat AF point-and-shoot 35mm film camera, with Rollei cap and strap. This camera comes with new batteries and is ready to produce a lifetime of photos.
Everything functions as it should, including the flash, autofocus system, as well as all levers, dials, and knobs. The camera is in very nice shape, cosmetically, with a clean viewfinder, pristine lens, clean film compartment and a corrosion-free battery compartment.
The Rolleimat AF was made from 1980 to 1981. It uses a Rolleinon 38mm F/2.8 lens, that is quite sharp for a point-and-shoot camera. The relatively fast maximum aperture of F/2.8 makes it suitable for low-light photography, especially with today's fast films.
The autofocus system focuses from 4 feet to infinity, using a Visitronic system from Honeywell (the same as found in Konica's C35 AF). There's a distance indicator in the viewfinder to show the shooter what will be in focus.
Exposure is handled automatically, with autoexposures from 1/450th of a second to 1/8th of a second. This is controlled by a CdS cell within the filter ring, meaning that filters can be used without any detriment to the exposure system. Film speed ranges from 25-400 ISO, and the camera is powered by 2 AA batteries, which are included.
The camera will be carefully packaged and shipped immediately.
